1. The petitioner is unrepresented.

2. Mr. Alak Kr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Corporation, brought to the Court's attention to the order passed in these writ petitions on 18th December 2023, which mentions that the petitioner had passed away long ago. He further pointed out that although a learned advocate had entered appearance on behalf of the legal heirs of the petitioner, no steps had been taken thereafter, despite an undertaking being given to the Court to take necessary actions.

3. Since the petitioner has passed away and no steps have been taken to bring the legal heirs on record, it is clear that both writ petitions have been abated.

4. The Registry is instructed to take note of it that unless the abatement is set aside, the lis shall be treated to have been terminated.
