1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about 294 days. It is further submitted petitioner has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in the murder. He was also identified in Test Identification Parade. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
