The writ petitioner is aggrieved by torture and misbehaviour of his son, who is living in the writ petitioner's house.

The private respondents are residing on the ground floor and the petitioner is residing on the first floor of the premises.

The writ petitioner has lodged a complaint before the Narendrapur Police Station on 18th May, 2022 which was registered as FIR No. 499 of 2022. The said investigation has been completed and Charge Sheet No.460 of 2022 dated 31.05.2022 has been filed by the police.

This Court has, prima facie, evidence of misconduct and misbehaviour by the private respondents against the petitioner. The writ petitioner, who is the owner of the house, has every right to install CCTV camera in an around his premises for his own security and to monitor the activities of the

private respondents. If the private respondents are uncomfortable with the activities of the petitioner, they may leave and live separately. Admittedly, the daughter-in-law, wife of the private respondent no. 3 is absconding.

The O. C., Narendrapur Police Station shall issue sufficient, strong and stern warnings to the private respondent/son against any interference with the running of the house by the writ petitioner and his wife.

The private respondents shall abide by any rule or system or other measures taken by the writ petitioner in his own house. In the event of any further substantial complaint from the writ petitioner, Narendrapur Police shall remove and/or escort the private respondents/son and his wife out of the house immediately.

The O. C., Narendrapur Police Station shall maintain strict vigil on the said premises.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

The instructions of the I. C., Narendrapur Police Station is kept with the record.

There will be no order as to costs.
