Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the representation which was advanced to the Officer-in-Charge, Haridevpur Police Station did not yield any result. Petitioner complains that she has a shop room which is being blocked by some members of the local club who are involved in playing carom board in front of her shop, thereby disturbing free ingress and egress of the customer. Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that they are local individuals, they have never obstructed the free ingress and egress of the customer and they are not playing carom board over there.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that there is a long pending dispute relating to demarcation of shop room. On an assessment of the conduct of the private respondents, State has already registered a case being Haridevpur Police Station Case No.277 of 2025 dated 25.04.2025.

In view of the police case already been registered, if the petitioner further faces any inconveniences, petitioner will inform the jurisdictional court to impose such terms and conditions on the accused persons as the jurisdictional court deems fit and proper. Let the investigation of the case be taken to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9281 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
