Kausik CRM (NDPS) 814 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/ Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in connection with Chanchal Police Station Case No. 159 of 2026 dated 22.02.2026 under Section 21(c) & 22(c) of the NDPS Act.

Petitioner has been arrested on the basis of recovery of 25 bottles of Phensedyl from the joint possession of the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that investigation of the case is in progress. At this stage, accordingly the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 814 of 2026 is dismissed.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the investigation is concluded.
