And In the matter of : Asidur Rahaman @ Rasidur Mia ...... petitioner Ms. Jeenia Rudra ....for the petitioner Ms. Minoti Gomes ....for the State Petitioner renews the prayer for anticipatory bail on the ground that, the petitioner was not shown arrested as recorded while rejecting the prayer for anticipatory bail on January 22, 2024 passed in CRM(A) 4705 of 2023.

Materials in the Case Diary suggest that the petitioner is involved in a number of police cases.

Police took the custody of the petitioner in at least four police cases.

Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are unable to arrive at a finding that, petitioner is able to Signed By :

overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1312 of 2024 is disposed of.
