Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

The application is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated June 16, 2022. By such order, search for recovery of stridhan articles was directed. The Court is informed that no recovery was made pursuant to the search. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioners are not cooperating with the investigations. The de facto complainant is represented.

The husband is still absconding.

The complaint was lodged within a month of the marriage. Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are

unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 2281 of 2022 is dismissed.
