Petitioners complain that they are being harassed 07.05.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.55 Rakib at the behest of the daughter-in-law/respondent no.9. To that effect information was furnished to the police authorities. However, the police authorities did not take any steps. Learned advocate for the petitioner has additionally drawn the attention of the Court to the injury reports which she claims was consequence of the assault inflicted at the behest of the private respondents. Police authorities have submitted a report. Report reflects that since the accusations are relating to family feud, there is limited scope for the police to interfere. Inspite of the same police authorities have drawn proceedings under Sections 126/135(3) of the BNSS. Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.9 submits that she also informed the police station in respect of the inconveniences, as also the harassment

faced by her with the police authorities and the same is also being considered by the concerned police station. Be that as it may, police authorities are in knowhow of the incidents which have happened. It has also been reported to the SDO, the concerned SDO would in the circumstances take steps, if required under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

Police authorities would keep a vigil and ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting from the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 9419 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
