Commercial quantity of Codeine Mixture (10 litres) was recovered from the possession of the petitioners. The petitioners have been charged under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985. The petitioners' prayer for bail was rejected by a coordinate Bench of this Court on December 16, 2020 in CRM 10453 of 2020.

The chemical examination report is also available now. The report is positive. In that view of the matter and also in view of the statutory restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. The application for bail being CRM 3692 of 2021 is, thus, dismissed.

However, we request the learned trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as the business of the court may permit.
