The petitioners do not appear. There is no representation from the petitioners. There is no request to provide link for availing the facility of virtual hearing. Mr. Aniruddha Sen and Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhya represent the official respondents. According to the pleadings of the petitioners, the petitioner no.1's husband, Ashutosh Roy, is no more and an application under Section 10 of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997 has been filed as OA No.976 of 2020. The attempt of the petitioners is to avail an opportunity of early disposal of that application even going by the pleadings. The said application is posted for consideration before the tribunal on 21.02.2021. We can understand the heartburn of the petitioners. We also have seen the date of death of her husband. The application before the tribunal is filed only in July, 2020. However, we are of the view that the tribunal could sympathetically consider

any request of the petitioners for expeditious hearing and disposal of the application being OA No.976 of 2020. In the result, this writ petition is ordered directing that the tribunal will consider any request for expeditious disposal of OA No.976 of 2020.

Let an endeavour be made by the tribunal to dispose of the matter finally within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to be admitted by the respondents.

WPLRT 30 of 2020 along with IA No.:CAN 1 of 2020 are accordingly disposed of.
