1. The petitioners seek to hold a religious festival of 'Maa Mansa Puja' at Debimathurapur Gobindapur of Sagar Island on 21st April, 2023 to 24th April, 2023. According to the calendar, 22nd April, 2023 is the festival of Eid that occurs at the end of the month of Ramadan.

The ground is part of the devottar property used by all villagers for not only for religious festival but also for other activities.

2. The petitioners may hold their religious gathering at the locale from 21st April, 2023 to 24th April, 2023. However, on 22nd of April, 2023 or when the festival of Eid is announced, persons of the Muslim faith shall be entitled to offer their Namaj and prayers from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the morning.

3. The petitioners undertake not to disturb the private respondents and members of their community during the aforesaid period of time while "Namaj" is being offered.

4. The private respondents and their associates shall peacefully hold their Namaj and leave the place in peace.

5. The O. C., Sagar Police Station shall put in place adequate measures to ensure that no untoward incident occurs.

6. It is expected that all parties maintain peace and harmony.

7. The petitioners may instal CCTV cameras.

Footage whereof shall also be monitored by the Sagar Police Station.

8. The writ petition is disposed of.

9. There will be no order as to costs.

10. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
