Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner has approached this Court because of inaction of the police authorities. However, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner admits that subsequently the police authorities have taken steps during the pendency of this writ petition.

Records reflect that police authorities are progressing with the investigation of Berhampore Police Station Case No. 1981 of 2024.

In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 9448 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
