Ct. No.17 personality test to be held between 15th May, 2023 and 17th May, 2023 but he has made a mistake in filling up the form which is required to be rectified. In the form he has stated his year of qualifying that is TET 2022 whereas he actually qualified in TET 2017. He wants to rectify this mistake but the Board has stated that now there is no such provision for rectifying the mistake.

I have heard and considered the submissions of the parties but I feel that for making such a silly and inadvertent mistake a person's opportunity to appear in one interview should not be curtailed. Therefore, I direct the President of the West

Bengal Board of Primary Education to take appropriate steps so that the petitioner can rectify the mistake and if it is difficult to rectify it in the online system, the petitioner should be allowed to file one affidavit disclosing his year of qualifying that is TET 2017 along with the supporting documents on the basis of which the petitioner should be allowed in the interview and if he is successful in the interview, his name should be recommended for the teacher of a primary school. He will be allowed in the interview, if he is otherwise eligible.

The petitioner is directed to approach the Board on Monday for rectification of this mistake. The parties will act on the basis of the gist of this order to be communicated by the petitioner. With the above observation and direction the writ petition is disposed of.
