Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in causing serious injuries on the head of the victim which is a vital part of the body, we are of the opinion that in view of the gravity of the offence this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
