For the State This is an application for expeditious hearing of the trial pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge , 6th Court at Barasat, North 24-Parganas being NDPS Case No. 67 of 2020.

Mr. S. G. Mukherjee along with Mr. Anwar Hossain represents the State. It has been submitted by the State, that the charge in this case was framed on 3rd February 2021 and the date of evidence has been fixed in the month of June, 2021.

In this pandemic situation delay in disposal of any pending proceeding cannot be attributed to the Court. However, keeping with the innocuous nature of the prayer, I dispose of this revisional application giving a direction upon the learned Sessions Judge, to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to the parties.

CRR No. 1305 of 2021 is disposed of.
