Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima-facie involvement of the petitioner in assaulting the victim who was in coma in the hospital for four months and ultimately succumbed to his injuries and as his prayer for bail was rejected as late as in June 2020, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
