The petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

He is the husband of the victim. The victim has implicated the petitioner in her statement before the doctor. Considering the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence as well as the gravity of the offence, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. The application for bail is disposed of.
