Petitioner being mother of respondent no.7 and mother-in-law of respondent no.8 has approached this Court with the present writ petition seeking direction upon the concerned police authority which would enable the petitioner to stay at the residence which was gifted by her to respondent no.7 and she will be looked after by respondent nos.7 & 8 by providing necessary assistance.

A communication dated 28th June, 2026 of Officerin-Charge, Raninagar Police Station, Murshidabad Police District is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. Copies of communication dated 28th June, 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing the petitioner and respondent nos.7 & 8.

It is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that on intervention of the concerned police authority respondent no.7 agreed to provide daily needs to his mother being the petitioner herein which would enable petitioner to lead decent and normal life.

Learned advocate representing respondent nos.7 & 8 has also assured before this Court that petitioner would not find difficulty in staying at the residence which was gifted by the petitioner in favour of respondent no.7. Daily necessities shall be provided to the petitioner for leading decent life.

Concerned police authorities are directed to keep vigil and to ensure that petitioner is looked after by respondent nos.7 & 8.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
