...... petitioners Mr. Arnab Saha ....for the petitioners Mr. Provash Bhattacharya, Mr. Arabinda Manna ....for the State Apparently, the victim committed suicide.

Neighbours recorded statements implicating the petitioners before us in meting out torture to the victim prior to her death on account of demand for dowry.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1316 of 2024 is disposed of.
