An application for anticipatory bail has been filed apprehending arrest arising out of Jagaddal P.S. case no. Jagaddal P.S. case no. 916 of 2019 dated 26.10.2019 under Sections 302/201/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.

It is submitted by the Counsel for the petitioner that his client's name did not feature in the original FIR or the charge sheet. It is further submitted by the Counsel for the petitioner that the evidence against his client is circumstantial in nature. Counsel for the State aggressively opposes the application for anticipatory bail.

Having considered the materials on record and considering that the petitioner has been named in the supplementary charge sheet based on the statement made by some of the witnesses in

support of the investigation, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application for anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM 3723 of 2021 is dismissed.
