Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that considering the period of detention of the petitioner and the nature of allegations and considering the fact that prosecution is based on documentary evidence, the prayer for bail should be considered. He submits that the petitioner is in detention for a period in excess of one year.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence and considering the fact that

there is hardly any change in circumstances from the last order of rejection, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM 3724 of 2021 is, accordingly, dismissed.
