Ms. Anjana Mehebub ...for the Petitioner On June 20, 2023, this Court directed the college as well as the State to file report in response to the allegations made in this writ petition.

The said respondents are not represented today and no report has been filed.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as a Trainer of National Cadet Corps unit at Memari College, Burdwan in the year 2004. From 2010, he was given the responsibility of the Caretaker of the said unit. During his tenure, the said unit at the college performed very well.

The petitioner made various representations before the college to appoint him as "ANO" of the unit. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that his representations have not yet been considered by the college and a direction should be passed upon the college to consider his representation.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Principal, Memari College at Burdwan to consider the representation of the petitioner appearing at page 80 of the writ petition and pass a reasoned order within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 9399 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
