The petitioner complains that when he tried to prevent the atrocities of private respondent Nos. 5 to 7 upon his co-villagers the Officer-in-Charge, Hingalgang Police Station, District 24-Parganas (North), the respondent no. 4 herein, threatened him of implicating in false criminal cases. The petitioner made a representation to the Superintendent of Police, District 24-Parganas (North) respondent no. 3 herein, appearing at page 14 being Annexure "P-3" to the writ petition, seeking appropriate protection of his life and property.

The grievance of the petitioner that the respondent no. 3 has not paid any attention to his said representation.

On perusal it appears that the petitioner has not disclosed the date of alleged incident in the said representation such lack fails to inspire this Court to direct the respondent no. 3 to consider the said representation as prayed for.

WPA 7055 of 2020 is dismissed being devoid of any merit.

The connected application being CAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
