Mr. Santanu Chatterjee ..for the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Having considered the materials on record prima facie, disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the assault of the victims one of whom was hospitalized and as prayer for anticipatory bail in respect of some of the accused persons has
been rejected by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M.6434 of 2020 and C.R.A.N.1 of 2020 are thus, disposed of.
