The petitioners allege that the private respondents are making construction over a water body without sanction and without obtaining permission for conversion of the classification of the land.

Learned advocate representing the private respondents and the Municipality submits, upon instructions that, the classification of the land in question stood converted to Bastu by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Uluberia-II on 19.01.2023 and building permit was issued by the Municipality for

raising construction over the subject plot of land in February, 2023.

In view of the aforesaid submissions and the relevant documents in support of such submissions, the allegations of the petitioners remain unsubstantiated.

Accordingly no relief can be granted to the petitioners in the instant case.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
