Burdwan Sadar Police Station has made submissions through the Counsel for the State. It is submitted that in respect of a complaint of the petitioners, First Information Report was registered and Charge-sheet being C.S. No. 232 of 2022 dated 20th March, 2022 has been filed under Sections 323/325/384/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code against the respondent nos.4 and 6.

It appears from the record that there is a private dispute between the respondent nos.4 and 5 on one hand and the respondent no.6 on the other. The said respondents are the sons of the petitioners. The

dispute is with regard to the transfer of property from the petitioners to the sons.

Burdwan Sadar Police Station submits that they are maintaining a regular vigil on the premises and shall look into any further complaint that may be lodged by the petitioners against any of the sons. There is some evidence before this Court of assault on the petitioners by the sons.

The private respondents/sons, who are represented before this Court shall desist from any kind of violence whatsoever. Burdwan Sadar Police Station shall ensure the same and issue appropriate warning, if necessary, to the two sons.

Burdwan Sadar Police Station shall immediately look into any complaint made against the petitioners as against the disturbance of the two sons.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
