1. The present revisional application has been filed inter alia, challenging the order dated 1st March, 2024 passed in MAT Suit No. 603 of 2023 by the learned Additional District Judge, 5th Court at Alipore.

2. Mr. Adak, learned advocate representing the petitioner after arguing the matter for some time would submit that the petitioner no longer wishes to continue with the challenge to the order dated 1st March, 2024 since the petitioner has been advised to file a separate application for amendment to explain out the recording of the petitioner's occupation which has been recorded as service.

3. Having heard the learned advocate for the petitioner, I am of the view that since the petitioner does not wish to continue with the challenge to the order dated 1st March, 2024, no fruitful purpose will be served in keeping the aforesaid application pending.

4. Having regard thereto, let the matter be dismissed. This order shall, however, not interfere with the rights of the petitioner to apply for an appropriate amendment, if so advised, provided the same is permissible in law.
