Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is against inaction on the part of the school authorities concerned to make payment of retiral benefits to him though he has retired on 28th February 2019 and for redressal of his grievance. He has made his representation twice and lastly on 15th February 2019, but till date the grievance of the petitioner has not been redressed.

Considering the submission of the parties, I pass the order to the effect that the petitioner shall make a representation before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur/respondent no. 2 within two weeks from date and if such representation is made, the respondent no. 2 will consider the said representation within six weeks thereafter and will pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative including the interested parties and will communicate its decision to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

The respondent no. 2 may treat this writ petition as representation of the petitioner. If the petitioner makes any application for provisional pension, the same shall be considered expeditiously and in accordance with law.

WPA 8379 of 2019 is disposed of.
