The learned advocate for the writ petitioners/applicants submits, relying upon the Apex Court's decision in the case of Rojer Mathew Vs. South Indian Bank Ltd. & Ors.

reported in (2020) 6 SCC 1, that in view of the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal ('Tribunal' for short) being non-functional, he does not wish to pursue the Original Application bearing O.A. No. 591 of 2024 pending before the Tribunal.

He seeks liberty to avail remedy in respect of the relief claimed in O.A. No. 591 of 2024, but in terms of the decision of the Apex Court before the appropriate Court/Forum.

With such liberty, the Writ Petition and the application pending before the Tribunal, are permitted to be withdrawn.

The Writ Petition and Original Applications before the Tribunal are accordingly disposed of.
