1. The petitioner is aggrieved that her application for transfer on the ground of distance has not been considered by the school authorities since 2019.

2. It is not clear from the writ-petition, as to whether the petitioner had made an application in the proper format, as prescribed.

3. In any event, since a long period of time has lapsed from the application made in 2019, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh application for transfer on the same ground of distance to the school authorities.

4. The School Authority shall consider the same and, if found eligible, will forward it to the District Inspector of Schools (DI), along with the requisite 'No Objection Certificate'.

5. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
