Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, co-accuseds were enlarged on anticipatory bail. Some co-accuseds were granted bail. He submits that, the petitioner was not aware of the police case.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that, so far as some co-accuseds were concerned, the Court also rejected the prayer for anticipatory bail.

A person was murdered.

Materials in the case diary implicate the petitioner. The police case is of June 8, 2019.

There is a bald allegation that, the petitioner was not aware of the police case without giving any material particulars as to his whereabouts.

Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner and considering the materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1702 of 2023 is dismissed.
