The State of West Bengal and others Mr. Balai Lal Sahoo, Mr. Sankha Prasad .... for the petitioner Mr. Sumon Sengupta, Mr. Saikat Chatterjee .... for the State Learned counsel appearing for the State, in his usual fairness, submits, in unison with learned counsel for the petitioner that half of the amount sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in respect of the plot-in-question has been disbursed in favour of the petitioner in respect of a different portion of the property. However, the other half still remains to be disbursed.

The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present application is that such amount is not being disbursed to the petitioner.

In view of the submissions of the parties, WPA No. 9108 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.6, that is, the Block Development Officer, Basanti Block to disburse the balance amount sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in

favour of the petitioner as expeditiously as the funds are made available to the respondent no.6. Due steps in that regard for disbursal of the amount shall be taken immediately by the respondent no.6.

There will be no order as to costs.
