It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having filed a representation dated 25th February, 2026, the WBSEDCL has not responded to the same.

On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that the entire grievance of the petitioner is concocted, misconceived and untenable. It is submitted that the electricity connection given to the private respondent was on 23rd February, 2023 after duly complying with all prescribed formalities.

In view of the above, WPA 10071 of 2026 stand disposed of by directing WBSEDCL to respond to the communication dated 23rd February, 2023 within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all question are left open for the WBSEDCL to decide in accordance with law.
