Mr. Tarunjyoti Tewari Ms. Kausiki Bose ...for the petitioners Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay Mr. Sabyasachi Mondal ...for the State Ms. Sumita Sen Mr. Kaushik Chowdhury ...for the DPSC, Birbhum In terms of the previous order Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay, learned Additional Government Pleader has placed before this Court memo dated 10th June, 2025 issued by the Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal and same is taken on record.

On perusal of the said memo dated 10th June, 2025 it appears that Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal has communicated sanction of leave in favour of the petitioner for the period from 12th June, 2018 to 23rd January, 2024 in terms of Leave Rules without pay. Chairman, District Primary School Council, Birbhum was also directed vide letter dated 10th June, 2025 to update the service book of the incumbent accordingly and inform the

petitioner to follow the Service Rules including Leave Rules.

In view of decision as emanating from memo dated 10th June, taken by the Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal writ petition stands disposed of directing the concerned State respondents to update the service book of the petitioner if same has not been done based on memo dated 10th June, 2025 relating to sanction of leave in favour of the petitioner without pay and to take necessary steps for release of salary in favour of the petitioner with effect from 24th January, 2024 under ROPA 2019.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
