In connection with Keshiary police station case no. 273/24 dated 20.11.2024 GR case no. 918 of 2024 under Sections 118(2)/3(5) of the BNS.

1. In view of the fact that a similarly circumstanced coaccused was granted anticipatory bail and the fact that injury suffered was purportedly simple in nature, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

2. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and the petitioner shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses. The petitioner shall meet the I.O once a week till submission of report in final form and the petitioner shall stay outside the jurisdiction

of Keshiary Police Station for a period of six months from date, except for the purpose of meeting the I.O or attending the jurisdictional Court.

3. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

4. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
