The petitioner is the husband of the respondent No. 5.

The allegation of the petitioner is that the police is not registering her complaint filed on 6th May, 2021. It appears from the submission of the petitioner that there is a matrimonial dispute in between the parties. A divorce suit is also pending before the learned Court below. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the Police Station on 6th May, 2021 alleging physical and sexual abuse by the private respondent.

The learned advocate representing the State respondent submits, upon instruction, that immediately upon receipt of the complaint on 6th May, 2021 the Patuli P.S. Case No. 81 has been registered on 8th May, 2021 under Sections 498A/406/506/509 I.P.C. Notice under Section 91 Cr.P.C. has already been issued in favour of the petitioner but the petitioner is not cooperating with the police for the purpose of proceeding with the said case.

As it appears that the police has already initiated the proceedings in response to the complaint lodged by the petitioner accordingly, no further order is required to be passed in this matter at this stage. The petitioner being the complainant is directed to cooperate with the police officers for the purpose of proper adjudication of the case. WPA 10521 of 2021 stands disposed of.
