The charge against the petitioners is, inter alia, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners' prayer for bail was rejected by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court by an order dated March 1, 2021 passed in C.R.M. 611 of 2021. We have seen the material in the Case Diary. We have seen in particular, the statement of one Afjal recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, who appears to be an eye witness.

Nothing significant has changed since the earlier rejection of the petitioners' prayer for bail. Further and in any event, in view of the nature and gravity of the charge and the incriminating material on record, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail at this stage.

Accordingly, the application for bail being C.R.M. 3777 of 2021 is dismissed.
