The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the authority under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, which is a specified Act under Section 2(r) of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997. In view of the alternative efficacious remedy available under the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Faced with such situation, the learned Advocate for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

In the light of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, WPA 9977 of 2026 stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach before the appropriate forum in accordance with the law for the self-same reliefs.
