Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the CBI submits that investigation is going on into the alleged offences. The CBI would soon conclude the investigation. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the police protection given by the State may continue for some time.

It appears that grievances of the petitioners have substantially been addressed inasmuch as the CBI is conducting investigation into the case registered by them. Let the CBI conclude the investigation in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible.

Till submission of report in final form, State shall continue to provide police protection granted earlier.

Even otherwise the police shall keep a sharp vigil in the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. With these observations, WPA 9138 of 2022 is disposed of.
