Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) to supply an electricity connection to the petitioner's submersible pump set.

However, learned counsel further submits that the petitioner intends to file a fresh application before the concerned Station Manager in accordance with the regulations framed by the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Leave is accordingly granted to the petitioner to submit a fresh application before the competent authority under the applicable regulations of the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission within 30 days from the date of this order.

If such an application is submitted within the stipulated period, the concerned Station Manager of WBSEDCL shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law within 30 days thereafter. With the above observations and directions, WPA 9500 of 2025 stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
