Banerjee) Mr. Anirban Roy Mr. Ashok Kumar Roy ...for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Division), 4th Court, Alipore to dispose of the pending applications filed in connection with Ejectment Suit No. 29040 of 2013 expeditiously. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial judge.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that applications under Section 7(1) and 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997,

application under Order 12 Rule 6 of the Code of Civil Procedure, an application under Order 39 Rule 7 of the Code and an application under Section 151 of the Code are pending.

In the light of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 1485 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Division) 4th Court, Alipore to take up the hearing of the pending interlocutory applications, if the same are otherwise ready for hearing, on the respective dates for hearing of such applications and to make an endeavour to see that the pending interlocutory applications are disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
