J Yusuf, AGP Mr. Parikshit Goswami ... for the State Petitioner Murshidabad Patni Co-Operative Society Ltd. complained that they were unable to run the Chatra Ferry Ghat because of interference by the private respondent. Report submitted by the Officerin-Charge, Islampur Police Station, Murshidabad Police District reflects that "during enquiry, it could be found that Murshidabad Patni Co-Operative Society Ltd. has already taken up the charge of Chatra Ferry Ghat on 19.04.2025 at 8:00 hrs with the strong assistance of Police Authority of Islampur Police Station. The copy of undertaken is attached herewith for kind perusal (Annexure: I)".

Since the grievance of the petitioner has been addressed, as police assistance has been rendered and the ferry ghat is being operated by the petitioner,

no further interference is called for in the present writ petition. Accordingly WPA No. 9305 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the Server Copy of this order duly downloaded from the Official Website of this Court.
