The wife seeks transfer of Matrimonial Suit No. 590 of 2023 which is pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 1st Court at Barrackpore to any court of competent jurisdiction at Bishnupur.

It is submitted that it is becoming increasingly difficult for the wife to travel to Barrackpore to attend the matrimonial proceedings. The husband resides at Durgapur and works at Saltlake. He has a temporary residence at Dumdum.

Considering the above circumstances and the difficulties of the respective parties, this court directs the learned District Judge, North 24-parganas at Barasat to transfer the Matrimonial Suit No. 590 of 2023 to the learned District Judge, Purba Burdwan. The learned District Judge, Purba Burdwan is directed to hear out the matrimonial suit himself,

upon receipt of the records. Notices will be sent to the respective parties by the learned transferee court and the suit shall proceed in accordance with law, expeditiously.

The revisional applications are accordingly disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
