The matter has been listed at the instance of the learned counsel for the State.

The learned AGP submits that description of the respondent no.3 in the writ petition needs to be amended in view of the fact that three police districts have been carved out of the erstwhile Diamond Harbour Police District. The petitioner is concerned with the Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District.

We permit the learned counsel for the petitioner to make the correction in the cause title here and now.

In view of such correction having been effected, the learned AGP points out that the order dated 13.05.2025 disposing of the writ petition needs to be modified accordingly.

We, therefore, direct that respondent no.3 in paragraph no.3 be read as 'Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District'.

The order stands modified accordingly.

The time stipulated for the action to be taken by the petitioner and the respondent in the said order, therefore, is extended by two weeks from date.
