1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. Having heard the learned Counsels for the parties and having carefully considered the medical report submitted by the Command Hospital, this Court is of the view that the allegations of physical torture made by the petitioners have not been substantiated.

3. The petitioners claim to have lodged a complaint, with the Superintendent of Police, Jhargram, of coercion and intimidation by Belpahari Police Station. There are also allegations of extortion and demand of sums of money by the police.

4. This Court is of the view that the petitioners may, if so advised, move the concerned Magistrate under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
