It is the case of the petitioner that he has been serving at the school since January 20, 1993. The school was sponsored by the Director of Mass Education Extension in 2006, but his service has not been regularised.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in the initial proposal of the Managing Committee, the name of the petitioner was in the list of the employees, but in the subsequent proposal for sponsorship submitted on September 20, 2004, his name was dropped.
Ms. Tapati Samanta, learned advocate appearing for the State has made over a copy of Memo No.324/ME/PH dated March 26, 2014 whereby the Director of Mass Education Extension sought necessary instructions regarding absorption of the petitioner from the Secretary, Mass Education Extension & Library Services Department, West Bengal.
The matter has not progressed thereafter.
In the above facts, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon the Director of Mass Education Extension, respondent no.2 to consider the case of the petitioner for his absorption at Kharagpur Pratibandhi Punarbasan Kendra in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10584 of 2017 is disposed of.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
