This is a joint application for recording compromise petition of Jadavpur Police Station Case No.321 of 2020 under Sections 498A/406 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act corresponding to ACGR-4687 of 2020 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Alipore. It is submitted by the learned Advocates for both the parities that the

matrimonial dispute between the parties has been amicably settled. Both the parties have filed an application before the learned District Judge, Alipore for dissolution of marriage by a mutual decree of divorce under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. A memorandum of understanding has been signed by both the parties wherein the parties have agreed to withdraw all pending cases.

Since Jadavpur Police Station Case No.321 of 2020 arose out of a matrimonial discord between the parties, this Court is in exercise of its power under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure can very well record compromise.

For the reasons stated above, the instant revision is disposed of with the note that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled.

The learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Alipore is directed to pass necessary order in ACGR-4687 of 2020 dropping further proceeding of the case on the basis of the instant order passed by this Court.

The parties are at liberty to act on the server copy of the order.
