Learned senior counsel appearing for the Damodar Valley Corporation points out, at the inception, that the present writ petition has become infructuous in view of the same cause of action having been agitated by the same petitioners in a different writ petition, being WPA No. 17786 of 2021, which was disposed of on November 17, 2021 by giving the petitioner liberty to approach the competent Regional Grievance Redressal Forum.

Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that such contention is correct, but the present writ petition was filed prior to the subsequent one, which was, by chance, decided first.

Be that as it may, in view of disposal of another writ petition, bearing WPA 17786 of 2021, on the same cause of action on November 17, 2021, the present writ petition, that is, WPA 10544 of 2021 is dismissed as infructuous.

The petitioners shall take due care not to repeat such sharp practice in future by fling several writ applications on the same cause of action.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
