By an order dated August 10, 2021, the petitioner was granted bail in CRM 3839 of 2021, inter alia, on the condition that he will furnish two sureties, one of whom must be local. Learned advocate for the petitioner says that in spite of best efforts, no local surety could be found. He prays that the petitioner be permitted to furnish registered surety.

Learned advocate for the State, in his usual fairness, does not oppose this prayer. We also do not find the prayer to be unreasonable.

Accordingly, the order dated August 10, 2021 is modified to the extent that the petitioner is permitted to furnish two sureties one of whom may be registered surety instead of local surety. The other portions of the said order shall remain unaltered.
