The application is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated 8th October, 2021.

Considering the fact that the petitioners deposited a sum of `80,587/- with the CESC authorities, which is more or less 50 per cent of the amount assessed, we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. The prayer for anticipatory is, thus, allowed. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioners shall meet the Investigating Officer as an when called for.
